A $500 security deposit is required to start — on every vehicle.
Under a minute, no documents — everything else happens in the Uber app. We'll reach out with availability and next steps.
From application to keys — the whole process, start to finish.
Browse the fleet, open the vehicle you want, and tap “Apply on Uber.” The application happens on Uber's own marketplace.
When the vehicle is available, you receive an invitation to join the 513 fleet directly through Uber.
In the Uber app: Menu → Documents → View all documents → Background check. Follow the prompts for the Uber Black check.
Background check comes back approved, we review the full rental agreement together, and the vehicle is assigned. You're on the road.
Monday 12:00 AM through Sunday 11:59 PM. One flat weekly rent — no profit split, no percentage of your fares.
Your Uber earnings minus the weekly rent, sent by ACH — processed Tuesday, in your bank Wednesday.

Change any number below. This is an example, not a quote — but the costs listed are the only ones a weekly rental driver pays us. Tickets, tolls and airport fees are not automatic: depending on where and how you choose to drive in town, that line can be $0.

Gross earnings less rental, fuel, and any tickets, tolls or airport fees.
Example only. You are an independent contractor, so income tax is not withheld and is not shown here. Earnings and expenses vary by driver, vehicle, hours, demand, fuel prices and individual decisions. No earnings are guaranteed. Rent-to-own drivers carry their own full-coverage insurance — add that cost when comparing the ownership path.
Simple and driver-friendly. If you drive with Uber, you're most of the way there — and we never collect documents. Everything is done through the Uber app directly.
The vehicle, unlimited mileage, and maintenance 100% covered. You keep it clean and fueled; we keep it road-worthy and Black-eligible.
You start with a $500 security deposit — required on every vehicle. After that, rates are weekly, and your rental fee is deducted directly from your weekly Uber earnings inside the app — your earnings stay in the Uber app and there are no separate payments to make.
Nothing is required. You can optionally upload a photo of your driver's license with your inquiry to speed up approval — it's stored privately, used only for eligibility, and deleted on request. Everything else, including your fleet upgrade, happens through the Uber app directly.
The initial rental is 4 weeks. After that it continues week-to-week, and you can end it anytime with 7 days' notice.
Join it in 60 seconds. The moment that vehicle becomes available, you automatically get an email — and a text if you opted in. Then your account is upgraded through the Uber app directly.
Two vehicles are rent-to-own only: the 2021 Ford Expedition ×2 ($5,000 down + $1,000/week × 20 weeks) and the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus ×2 ($5,000 down + $1,100/week × 16 weeks, paid straight out of your Uber Black earnings). Flat payments, 0% APR, no bank, no credit hassle — you own your car in 5 months max. The main requirement is full-coverage insurance with us as additional insured and loss payee (we can also provide insurance for a fee, priced on your driving history); the rest of the terms are in the contract you review before signing. Apply on the Rent-to-own page.
Seven vehicles carry CVG airport stickers, including the rent-to-own Expeditions and Nautilus. Only about 10% of Uber Black vehicles in Cincinnati are airport authorized, and airport trips are where Black rates pay best — it's one of the biggest advantages of driving with us.
You may live outside Ohio, but you must pick up the vehicle locally and operate primarily in Greater Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Dayton, or Columbus. Other markets can join our expansion list.
Yes. Drive as much as you want — no caps, no per-mile charges. More miles, more earnings.
